NO, glass is strictly prohibited in the outside areas of all of our rentals. Failure to follow our no glass policy may result in the entire loss of your security deposit, early termination of your rental contract, exclude you from future discounts or from renting any of the Ohio Luxury Lodging properties in the future. Glass is ONLY permitted inside. No Exceptions!
No, only registered guests are permitted access to the property unless otherwise approved by management.
Yes, the Makers Lodge and 2 Luxury Cabins at Bourbon Ridge Retreat are nestled on 202 private wooded acres. Rush Resort is located on 21 private acres in the middle of the State Parks and attractions and Laurel Run Farm is one mile off of the main road on 140 private acres. Our locations are private so only registered guests are permitted access. We have thoughtfully placed your accommodation to optimize views and privacy.
Bourbon Ridge Retreat is approximately 10 to 20 minutes away from everything you may want to explore in the Hocking Hills. Rush Resort is 2-4 minutes from all major State Parks and Laurel Run Farm is 12-20 minutes from State Park access.
No, we absolutely do not accommodate such events or any type of “party”. All reservations are subject to owner/management approval.
The Luxury Cabin Pools are open 365 days a year at no additional cost and are heated to your desired temperature. Lodge pools Open May 1st and Close November 1st. Hot tubs, including Hocking Hills Largest 16 person in-ground hot tub, are open year round.
Yes, high-speed wireless Wi-Fi is available at no additional cost at Laurel Run Farm and Bourbon Ridge Retreat. Rush Resort offers wireless high speed satellite internet.
Rush Resort and Bourbon Ridge Retreat do not allow pets. Rush Resort can accommodate horses in the stables.  Laurel Run Farm IS a pet friendly Lodge.
All Lodges and Cabins are completely furnished, all linens provided, everything you need to prepare meals with and initial supply of paper towels, toilet paper, hand soaps, dish and dishwasher soaps. We also offer our two signature programs for a more desirable experience, the At Home Comfort and The Luxury Advantage.
Check-in time is 4:00PM or later. Early check-ins are sometimes available upon request. If available you can contact management within 7 days of your arrival date to schedule an earlier check in time.Check-out time is no later than 11:00AM. Please leave the Lodge in the same condition in which you found it with dishes washed and trash in proper receptacles. Management and housekeeping staff will arrive at 11:00AM on departure date to begin the cleaning process. To be eligible for future discounts, you must be out of the vacation rental by 11:00 AM and have left it in the same condition in which you arrived, minus reasonable beds being made and clean towels.
Yes, Housekeeping/Maintenance does visit each property daily to maintain the pool and hot tub chemistry, temperatures, landscape watering and to gather any trash or recyclables that have been placed in our receptacles. The Lodges and Cabins will be immaculately cleaned for your arrival. We will do everything we can to make sure the homes are ready for your stay. Our goal is to provide you with the best customer service in the Hocking Hills so that you will become a frequent guest to our Lodge and Luxury Cabin rentals. Management can be contacted 24/7 by calling our main office.
Depending on your provider, some providers offer better coverage than others. All Cabin and Lodge rentals have a land line telephone service for your use. Prior to your arrival we will provide you with your rentals phone number, feel free to give this to guests arriving later and/or family at home that may need to contact you during your stay. Long distance calls are free within the USA.
In short, there is an abundance of wildlife. We do have our properties professionally exterminated, but it is not bug proof. Please remember you are in the wilderness and that we have invaded their habitat, so chances are you will see insects, bees and spiders. Fortunately, mosquitoes are only seen on the rarest of occasions. You most likely will encounter various woodland creatures such as deer, wild turkey, raccoon, squirrels, and you may even see a coyote. Please do not feed or approach wildlife.
Gorgeous! Winter is a beautiful season to experience the Hocking Hills. Our driveways are steep however we do our best to keep snow and ice removed. 4-wheel drive may be necessary during inclement weather. No refunds  are issued due to inclement weather or power outages, we certainly will work with you to come and experience the accommodations on alternate dates if travel is not possible. All of Lodges offer a full house generator.
